This is the LP version of NOFX's "Heavy Petting Zoo" album. Same tracks, same catalog number, but slightly more disturbing artwork with an alternate joke-title on the cover. Following the progression of "White Trash Two Heebs And A Bean" and "Punk In Drublic," "Heavy Petting Zoo" is a damn-near perfect mix of the low humour and (often overlooked) high ideas, together with music that veers from the slamming to the sublime. It isn't as instantaneous as usual, and you may not get it on the first listen. But on plays three, four and five, the appeal of this album will grow like a nursery kid with a steroid habit.
